Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mnemoria (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Mnemoria, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

Mnemoria is currently operated by Tunjay Seyidali as an individual, in the process of establishing a formal business entity. References to “we,” “us,” or “Mnemoria” refer to the operator of the Service. If the operating entity changes, these Terms will be updated accordingly, and the obligations here will carry forward under the new entity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Mnemoria. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will suspend and delete that account.

3. What Mnemoria is, and what it isn't

Mnemoria is a persistent personal AI that remembers your conversations over time, extracts patterns from what you tell it, and responds with a consistent, adaptive character.

Mnemoria is not:

• A licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health provider
• A medical device or diagnostic tool
• A crisis intervention service
• A substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice

Nothing Mnemoria says should be treated as professional advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis service in your region immediately. Mnemoria is not equipped or intended to handle emergencies.

4. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at mnemoriaproject@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may sign up using email/password or via Google sign-in. You're responsible for providing accurate information during signup.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mnemoria to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the underlying models, prompts, or architecture powering Mnemoria
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages and content you send to Mnemoria. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and use that content solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for what you share with Mnemoria. Don't share content that is illegal, that you don't have the right to share, or that could harm others.

7. AI-generated content

Mnemoria's responses, portraits, and any generated content are produced by AI models and are provided for reflective and conversational purposes. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every context. Mnemoria may occasionally generate incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected responses, as is inherent to AI systems generally. Use your own judgment when acting on anything Mnemoria says.

8. Service availability

Mnemoria is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including specific features, at our discretion, though we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

As an early-stage product, Mnemoria may undergo significant changes as we develop it further.

9. Pricing

Mnemoria is currently offered free of charge during its private beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid pricing in the future. If we do, we will provide advance notice to existing users before any change affecting them takes effect, consistent with what's stated on our Pricing page.

10. Intellectual property

Mnemoria, its design, branding, and underlying technology (excluding your own content and excluding third-party technology such as Anthropic's Claude models) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets beyond what's necessary to use the Service as intended.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Account settings, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where practical, particularly during this early-stage period of the product.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mnemoria is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or produce any particular outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on Mnemoria's responses or generated content.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation isn't permitted by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via the email associated with your account or a prominent notice within the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles, given the current operator's primary jurisdiction. This may be updated as the operating entity is formalized.
